Linda,
I will ask her, but I doubt if she will know. I guess I don't need to make such an issue of this, but I just need to know why and how things work, and this has bugged me. I'll see what I can find out.
Thanks,
Marion

Roger X..thanks for your response. Yes, I think you are right that she does not intentionally send attachments. I don't really think she would know how to. I know nothing about the Mac but maybe someone in this group could give a clue.

I would take her at her word that she never (intentionally) sends
them as attachments, or that they come to her that way.

Probably a setting somewhere in her Mac email program that she's not
aware of.

Maybe one of the Mac users here can suggest where she can look. I'm
sure she'd be willing to change it if she knew exactly where to find
it.

Yeah, it's buggin' us now, too !

(We like to fix things)

I like the idea of her sending an email with one of her attachments
to Robert ..... (not me, please <g>) ... and have him take a look at
the header.

Hang in there, we'll get to the bottom of this ... I see Inspector
Robert has already opened a new case file on this one, and is hot on
the scent ..
