Question regarding Photo Elements 6.0
by Adobe

Greetings,
I recently received the program Photo Elements 6.0
by Adobe. It seems to have a lot of cabilities; alot of which are more
than I'm use to. I use to use Microsoft Picture it but that program is no
longer compatible with my computer as I have Vista now.
I am getting this message when I am trying to
print using Photo Elements 6.0 and I'm sure what it means. Can someone
help me?
The message is: Some postscript specific
print settings (interpolation, calibration, encoding) will be ignored since you
are printing to a non-postscript printer.
The printer I am using is a Canon i860. I was unable to print a
photo using Photo Elements 6.0 with my printer. I don't know how to
rectify the issue. Thanks in advance for any help/suggestion.

Michele,
I assume the name of the program is "Photoshop Elements". If you live in
the Torrance or South Bay area, look up the adult education classes for PE
taught by Don Stouder. He gives a series of classes (four I think) that
cover the program well for beginners.
See: www.southbayadult.org or www.torranceadultschool.com. Roy

When you get the error message, do you click OK or Cancel?
If you click OK, does it print?
If not, you may need to download a Postscript driver for that printer
from Canon
