Robert, This is an update on the modem/router question. I
spent some time with Mr. Google and found a forum with
people who had the same modem I did and also looking for a
power suppply. One person posted a phone number he found
direct to the 2 wire company, called and received a power
supply free. One other said he used the number and had the
same result.
I decided to find out if it really did work. I called
Wednesday, and today, three days later, It arrived free of
charge and I had not even bought the modem. One gold star
for AT&T.

Hi, Marion.
Don't you mean a gold star for the 2 wire company. I had never heard of
them before; but, I am impressed.
So, are you confident that the modem will work with your present ISP?
