Oddly enough, I was thinking about this exact issue this
morning (before
reading this thread)... and I don't see how. I don't think
the GPL makes
any provision for how you publish code that uses a GPL'd
interface. So I
think the GPL library would allow you to distribute source,
but it would
not allow linking that source to the GPL'd library. That
said, the
/proprietary/ library may not permit you to distribute
source intended
to use that library.
IANAL. To really be safe, you would need to consult a
lawyer. Failing
that, the safest thing to do is to use only GPL- and
compatibly-licensed
code.
