Hi,

In KDE3 I have 'Add media:' KToolbar in the middle of the
window. First
screenshot here:

When I try to do that in KDE4 it's movements are connected
to main toolbar
(Screenshot attached). Is it possible to 'disconnect' those
toolbars and use
KToolbar as a normal widget in forms?

Is that a 286 or are you just running Windows?

instead, perhaps use a qhboxlayout with a set of toolbuttons
in it? using a
toolbar in a window other than in the toolbar area is highly
non-standard.

KMediaFactory plugins add they own buttons and menu items
through .rc files /
QActions to toolbar and menus. This has worked very well.
Also toolbar
provides >> button if all the buttons don't fit to the
toolbar. So If I want
to use my own widget I basically have to duplicate
KToolbar.
