That's because, until I saw that phase appeared to be
stagnating, the
fork was only on my computer being used by me personally.
 When
I
noticed that phase was sitting around, (apparently - a wrong
appearance,
obviously ) not being
ported, I offered to port mine as an alternative.

Actually I'm now thinking I'll just svn switch mine into
playground for
now (I can always shoe-horn it into kdeartwork's tree and
have an
outstanding CMakeLists.txt pointing at it to get it to build
as if in
kdeartwork), that way I don't have to wait on permission.

...and thanks!

As far as porting, I haven't really started, if you will be
checking in
your stuff soon-ish anyway that's fine, otherwise I'd be
happy to see
what you have.

Hmm, maybe, I'm not (yet) familiar with QStyles in Qt4 to
know if you're
right or not.

I'll probably check mine in tonight or this weekend. It may
still be broken,
plugin wise, but it's better than the unusable semi-ported
Qt3Support version
that's already there.

I still need to understand why it's not working with KDE and
CMake, but is
perfectly happy with qmake.

It's a much better way of doing styles than Qt3 (though it
is still somewhat
quirky). I need to explore KStyle closer, to see if it's
following the same
model, or if it tried to "extend" QStyle to fit
the KDE viewpoint.
