Thanks for answer and I am sorry for escalating!

I sent my first part of question to kdepim-users and forgot
to attache
to email sent to
kde-devel. It is because I try to get into the habit of
using gmail
interface, sorry to give troubles you. You can see below
mention above
output of nestat -p key.

Unfortunately, I can not reproduce that situation again. And
so, I
decided to ask users and then development team...

Really, it is very strange situation at least for me.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, all!

I have noticed that KMail listens some port. I think at the
least it is strange.
Does anybody know what KMail would like to get through that
port?

See below the result of netstat:

netstat -apn |g 32782
udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:32782 0.0.0.0
                 2343/kmail

Thanks in advance.

It's an UDP port. You very likely ran netstat when KMail was
doing a name
lookup and, therefore, had the DNS socket open. Since it
doesn't do name
lookups all of the time, you won't see this socket most of
the time.
