Hello folks,

plugging in a usb device with a filesystem other than vfat,
does not work.
I get this errori popping up in a dialog box:

hal-storage-removable-mount-all-options refused uid 174

The disk looks like this:

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id
System
/dev/sdc1 1 30401 244196001 7
HPFS/NTFS

The same goes for my ipod.

Any ideas?

TRY TO ADD IN /ETC/FSTAB:
/DEV/SDC1 YOUR_MOUNT_POINT	NTFS DEFAULTS,USER,AUTO,UMASK=0
00 0 0
USE NTFS-3G TO RW ACCESS TO NTFS PARTITIONS

Although this works for this specific case; is this a good
solution? Shouldn't KDE's media manager
handle any arbitrary usb device I plug in? This works
flawlessly with gnome-volume-manager, and it also
did some unknown time ago in KDE.
