Storage Media view broken in KDE 3.5.5

Hi!

Just updated my SuSE 9.3 system with KDE to 3.5.5 and found
that 
Konquerors "Storage Media" view, AKA
"media:/" AKA "system:/media", no longer

shows audio CD's or my MP3 player or any hotplugged media
except those 
explicitly listed in "/etc/fstab".

Hotplugged devices are still automounted in /media but the
"Storage Media" 
view used to provide actions like Eject and Safely Remove.

Any comments?
