Hi list;

I recently installed FC5 and added the following as
/etc/yum.repos.d/kde.repo:

[kde]
name=kde
mirrorlist=http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/mi
rrors-stable
gpgkey=http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/kde-redh
at.RPM-GPG-KEY
#gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-kde-redhat
enabled=1

[kde-all]
name=kde-all
mirrorlist=http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/all/stable/m
irrors
gpgkey=http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/kde-redh
at.RPM-GPG-KEY
#gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-kde-redhat
enabled=1

# NOTE: enable/disable *both* testing/testing-all together;
requires/depends
on kde/kde-all repo(s)
[kde-testing]
name=kde-testing
mirrorlist=http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/m
irrors-testing
gpgkey=http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/kde-redh
at.RPM-GPG-KEY
#gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-kde-redhat
enabled=0

I used yum (with the above repo) to install KDE 3.5.5 but I
don't have
Kuickshow - one of my favorite tools. I tried "yum
install kuickshow but no
match was found.

Thanks in advance..

yum whatprovides kwickshow should tell you what package
provides it
In my case I'm using Fedora repos and I don't know if they
are packaged
differently
but I show...
kdegraphics.i386                         7:3.5.5-0.1.fc5

installed
Matched from:
/usr/bin/kuickshow
/usr/lib/kde3/kuickshow.la
/usr/lib/kde3/kuickshow.so
/usr/lib/libkdeinit_kuickshow.la
/usr/lib/libkdeinit_kuickshow.so
/usr/share/applications/kde/kuickshow.desktop
/usr/share/apps/kuickshow
/usr/share/apps/kuickshow/im_palette.pal
/usr/share/apps/kuickshow/pics
/usr/share/apps/kuickshow/pics/about.png
/usr/share/apps/kuickshow/pics/calibrate.png
/usr/share/apps/kuickshow/pics/handcursor.png
/usr/share/apps/kuickshow/pics/imageviewer-medium.png
/usr/share/apps/kuickshow/pics/imageviewer-small.png
/usr/share/apps/kuickshow/pics/ksslide.png...etc
