For the love of Konqi, lose the RH-7.3. Really. RedHat of
that era
and KDE were a very difficult install.. cpp has seen *many*
changes
since that time. Move to a more modern base distro. I've
an older
KDE (3.0.4ish) built on RH-7.3 so I am very familiar with
the comprimises.
debian, SuSE, Fedora, CentOS... just move up. You'll be
glad you did.
