Have you read the wiki lately?  There's
already a page that addresses the 
coding style to use in KDevelop, and IIRC, it's one that
nearly 90% of us 
agreed on (even I liked it ;))

Yes ;) The question is shall we adopt kdelibs guidelines as
is for KDevelop also?
Our guidelines are approximately a subset of proposed
kdelibs ones.
Shall we go for a stricter solution and be more demanding
about the style?
(.kateconfig you commited will definitely help)

No. we have something we all like now. Let's stick with
that and just make it 
easier for others to automatically use it.

Agreed.  Plus the stuff in HEAD is getting better and better
as far as 
consistency.
