Is there a way to run kdevelop in-place?

Hi,

I'd like to know wether it's possible to run kdevelop from
inside the
build directory, instead of always doing a make install. And
I also
mean: Without symlinking the hundreds of files kdevelop
consists of from
the install to the build dir?

Or at least prevent make install from recursing into
subdirectories?

Andreas

No, KDevelop has to be installed to test it. There is a flag
you can pass to
make to make it not recurse. However, in general, you want
the recursion to
make sure everything is at the same version.
