Of course. The only one really in question here is IDistVC,
we'll just
nuke it or otherwise indicate that it "doesn't
exist" until we're ready
to make it obey BC.

I think Andreas was more strongly in favor of making things
scriptable
(I'm quite sure I remember /someone/ wanting scriptability,
anyway), so
I'm not the best one to give use cases, although I was
thinking that the
showLog() UI will probably use multiple calls to log()
internally, i.e.
it can work with a default argument for limit and allow you
to
incrementally ask for more records. That's how p4v works
anyway.
