Check for contractions in strings

Contractions in strings are sometimes hard to translate so
do not use
them. For example: "don't" should be changed to
"do not". Contractions
used in comments are ok.

I was actually going through the list of bugs in:

I'm not quiet sure why, but it was an easy patch to
generate.
