Building latest snapshots on OpenSuSE

Trying to build recent snapshots e.g. kvpnc-20080513,
kvpnc-20080409 on
OpenSuSE 10.2 and 11.0 (beta 3/Factory). On both platforms I
have the
same problems:

Can anyone shed any light on this? Is it a python library
issue? On both
machines, "rpm -qi python" shows Version : 2.5
Release : 19.6


PS - can anything be done about the spam that this list is
getting?

Thats your problem. Install make and remove unsermake (which
is broken). 
Alternativly you can export MAKE=/usr/bin/make before
running configure.

I had reported this for a while to gna admins but i'll
rereport it again.

I also recommend to build svn because there have been some
fixes too ;)
