Am using kolab 2.01 on a suse 10.1. Kolab comes wih apache that is installed together with the other packages. I want to use the same server for hosting my websites with apache2. How can I disable kolab̵7;s apache and tell it to use my apache2?

You'll probably want to just run the Kolab apache on
different ports than the
default (80 & 443). I always set mine to run on 8000,
and 4430.

edit :

/kolab/etc/kolab/templates/httpd.conf.template

- <VirtualHost _default_:443>
+ <VirtualHost _default_:4430>

- Listen 80
+ Listen 8000

- Listen 443
+ Listen 4430

- ErrorDocument 403 https://fqdnhostname/admin/
+ ErrorDocument 403 https://fqdnhostname:4430/admin/

- ErrorDocument 403 https://fqdnhostname/fbview/
+ ErrorDocument 403 https://fqdnhostname:4430/fbview/

Then run :

/kolab/sbin/kolabconf

===============================

Then you can configure the system apache as you normally
would.

I added an ip adress to the server and made the kolab apache
listen to the
fist adress and the other apache listen to the second.

Ger.

Doing this you probably disable the freebusy list
funcationality.
Kolab Clients will issue https trigger links and download
freebusy lists
over the standard ports.

That is configurable in the client though.

In Kontact you can set the URL.

https://kolabs
erver.com:4430/freebusy/

Horde has a configuration for this as well in the calendar
driver settings for
the port number.

Can't remember Outlook with a connector, but as I recall it
is configurable as
well.
