Kolab Server 2.0.4 or 2.1beta2 come almost self-contained
under /kolab,
thus they would not overwrite other settings in the system
at all.
Of course, if you start postfix from the Kolab Server, it
will block the
ports.

I guess you are using the Kolab Server version for Suse then
where there is hope of this working.
Usually you would motify the template files.

Better add it to the virtual transport.
