Hello

the new debian etch have in the official packages tree the
kolab server.

Now i want to test this packages, instead of using the
official openpkg 
sources.

Have somebody test this packages?

Would these work on Ubuntu? Are there any that would work on
Ubuntu?

In ubuntu 6.10 there is the package kolabd, but i dont' know
if it's stable or 
usable.

i have two installation running with those package and they
work quite 
well ;)

thanks for your report. Have you find some particolar
problem for installing 
kolab on debian? 

Now i'm reading this page

an.org/wsvn/pkg-kolab/kolabd/trunk/debian/README.Debian?op=f
ile&rev=0&sc=0 
for installation. 

Or you have used /usr/share/kolabd/kolab_bootstrap ?

I have use that page or the readme that inside the debian
kolabd package.

the Readme don't cover the other part like smtp_policy and
invitation 
handling, i have some note about that but i must first clean
it..
