This may be too ugly a hack for you, but here it goes.
KOrganizer which is what Kontact uses for calendaring, can
export to
ics. The ics can be made available on a web server.
Konqueror reads ics,
Safari reads ics, Firefox calendar plugin reads ics.
The export and upload to web server can be easily scripted,
so like I
said, ugly hack method but it would work.
