Kolab 2.2 Release?

Hello,
currently I'm planning to migrate a customer from scalix to
kolab,
but I'm asking me if I should wait for 2.2 or install
version 2.1 or 
perhaps install 2.2b2 and introducing the horde client to
the users
when 2.2 is released. 
Is it possible to give a forecast about when kolab 2.2 going
to be released, 
rather within weeks or within months?

I'd recommend waiting with Horde until we have 2.2 out.
beta-2
introduced it for the first time so we were now busy with
fixing
bigger issues. While we are now down to smaller stuff there
are still
a number of problematic bugs.

The current release also uses the recent Horde-3.2-ALPHA
version and
I'd like to see us using the soon to be expected BETA
version to have
a more reliable basis.

We are still in "beta" phase and the betas are not
recommended to use
for customers. After the "beta" phase there will
be a release
candidate (rc) phase. So 2.2 won't be delivered within weeks

Well it depends a bit.
There have been a couple of betas and it could be seen that
a customer
would need a subset of the funcationality that is stable and
will do updates 
anyway. It needs a case to case evaluation, but sometimes it
is a good idea
to use Kolab Server beta versions.

As for an outlook: Kolab Server/OpenPKG 2.2-beta3 is around
the corner
(within the next week).
