The problem is that Kolab (or openpkg) believes that I have
a debian sarge:

	
In fact after following the procedure to rebuild
(/kolab/bin/openpkg 
rpm --rebuild ./openpkg-20071227-20071227.src.rpm) openpkg
create these 
files:

/kolab/RPM/PKG/openpkg-20071227-20071227.ix86-debian3.1-kola
b.rpm 

Is a bug of openpkg or my server?

I guess this is an openpkg bug. You could try to download a
newer
openpkg base package from openpkg. It might detect your
system
correctly.
