Escaping @ symbols

Hi,

I'm trying to include a block of perl code in my project,
but kommander keeps 
trying to parse perl arrays as they begin with an  symbol.
I'm wanting to 
know if there is any way to escape the character so it is
passed directly to 
perl without kommander trying to parse it.
