Support for graphical displays usind serdisplib

Hi!

Does lcd4linux support graphical lcds which are supported by
serdisplib? I got 
the impression that it "normally" can only deal
with text-based ones, so I 
ask here - if it doesnt, I can stop my efforts to get it
running. ;)
