Widget width in pixels

Hello,

My display is exactly two pixels wider than the 21 chars
that fit into one 
line - so a left-to-right-bar with "width 21" ends
2 pixels before the 
display's edge which is not that bad but annoying because I
know it. Is there 
a way to measure a bar's width in pixels instead of chars?

No, I'm afraid this is not possible.
