LoriBeth,
I have a used Sony laptop that I am parting out. I know the power
jack is the same as yours. And I believe the hindges are the same. I
repair the same problem you have, except I provide the power jack for
the same cost. And yes if some yokel does not know what they are
doing can mess-up your board. If you are interested in the parts
