You took it apart? Are you going to be able to get it back together?
Did you mark which screws go into which holes so you don't turn a long
screw into a short hole and short out the motherboard? Did you take
some pictures of the disassembly with your digital camera so you can
refer back to them when you run into a re-assembly problem? I have
taken hundreds of units apart, and I still take pictures if it is a
laptop I have never seen before. I get laptops in here all apart in a
bucket about once a month. LOL.
You first of all need to learn how to use a Digital Volt Meter so you
can check for continuity of the jack, and voltage at the place where the
plug connects to the motherboard. Go to http://www.doctronics.co.uk/meter.htm and start there.

Thank you so much for the link, It was alittle confusing at frist
but after I read a few times I started to understand it more and more.
I think that I need info om where on the laptop motherboard should I
test with the voltmeter.. I would just take it to a laptop tech like
yourself, I really have the most respect for you guys. I just can't
afford it, and I would just sell it on ebay but I really like this
laptop. To answer your question yes I've taken it apart already I've
taken apart a few laptop before and sometimes I get lucky when I put
them back together they just start working.. I draw a picture of the
bottom of the laptop on a piece of cardboard and put tiny holes where
the screws would go, and scew the into the cardboard so they don't go
nowhere. and on those parts that are really confusing I'll draw a
picture of how it was taken apart and how it goes back together..
But thank you for your help and info..If you have any picture of
where to test on the motherboard with a voltmeter please send them to
me I wouldbe very greatful.. Thanks again Junior
