Hi everyone.
I am currenly working on a Toshiba Satellite 2545XCDT. The
unit powers
up and the CPU is good. However, the hard-drive is not
recognized.
Tried it in a good PC....and it was not recognized by it
either. I
could NOT even format it...an it was NOT recognized by
FDISK. I
assumed "bad" hard-drive.....and so put in a new
drive. Same result.
Must be a localized failure..... perhaps "bad"
hard-drive
controller?..or "bad" motherboard? Anyone have
similar problem?
Anyone have service manual, schematics, or TIPS on this?
Thanks,
Kevin D.
