Ralph,

Darren Vena from LaserSoft Imaging here. In addition to some of the other
recommendations for connecting your Leafscan to your G5 would be either a Ratoc (scsi to
firewire) converter or an Acard AEC 67160 M scsi card (these came in G4 and G5 flavors.
Unfortunately the G4 version is no longer available, but the listing above would be
applicable for your the G5. The Ratoc comes with an installer but the tricky thing here is to
try it first without installing the utility. If it does not work, then install the utility (comes on
the CD) and then disable it (it is straight forward and has all the buttons to select.) Sounds
strange I know but it does work that way.
