Glass plates for wet mounting are no longer manufactured so you will have to find one
used. Perhaps someone on this forum may respond to your inquiry. However, I doubt that
anyone will want to sell their glass mount unless they are also selling the Leafscan 45.
However, if you look in the files you will find some templates that you could use to have
your own glass plate mount made. You would just basiclaly have a glass shop cut a square
for you 8 1/4" X 9 3/4" X .228" (1/4" should work fine), and then cut the corners as shown
on the templates. You would want to specificy that they should sand the edges of the
glass. They may be able to cut the round handhold as well, though you could use the
glass without the hand hold.
The original glass mounting station was cut from sapphire glass, which has higher
transmission than plane float glass, but I feel confident that plane float would work fine in
this application.
