Can anyone tell me what may be my problem here. I have a Leafscan 45
on a G4/ using 9.2 and Photoshop 5.5. I used my Leaf last month ;
perfectly with no problems. Now I am trying to use it today again and
I am getting messages that follow:
Unable to load stored Preferences, Using defaults instead
Unable to initialize scanner device
Press OK to exit
I have checked and rechecked the cables etc. I still cannot get this
to run. I have reinstalled the driver. It is like it is not finding it.
Can anyone help?

Well, I'll ask the usual SCSI chain questions...have you made ANY
changes to the SCSI chain?...any other devices connected, and are they
ON or OFF?
Are you sure the SCSI cable is connected to the correct port?...they
really are an IN and an OUT...one of the few devices I've ever seen
made that way.
Any changes, like new extensions, to the OS?
Any new applications added?
Have you checked the DIP switches on the LF?...easy to move
accidentally.
