  Thanks Dave, I got it to show up as a plug-in.  When I load it now it 

still says "unable to load stored preferences using defaults instead".  

But now when I click OK it doesn't crash anymore but says "unable to 

access scanner".  Maybe the Adaptec SCSI card that I'm using isn't 

communicating. I've found & ordered a DB25(M)to HD50(M) SCSI cable so I 

can use the G3's built in SCSI & not use the Adaptec card.  I should 

receive it in a few days & try it then.
