Hi Burney,
I respect your sentiments about not wanting anyone to '...break their beloved scanner...'
I am not thrilled about keeping pertinent information about getting the best from a
LeafScan 45 under wraps and treating members of this group as idiots or second class
citizens.
Months ago I posted a problem about sharp focusing and my LeafScan 45 and got all sort
of dumbed down answers from guys including Austin who now it appears had information
that could have helped me get nearer the sharpness I desire from the scanner.
I beiieve that all information should be shared openly - with any caveats about potential
problems outlined so LeafScan owners can dedcide themselves what risks they may take
in the pursuit of perfection from their scanners.
Of course I can see that smoke screens from Burney and Leafscan.com may be laid to
protect their respective commercial positions re - selling glass carriers and servicing
LeafScan machines - after all knowledge is power and loads of bucks!!!
What do other members think?
