Hello Jim,
I'm the Walter that Chris Cormack previously mentioned. As
noted
before, I've done a lot of work with OpenACS (and it's
predecessor,
ACS) in the past. It has a core software package called the
Content
Repository which nicely handles versioned content, including
internationalization. I just took a brief look at Dublin
Core and
I'm happy to report that most of what one would need for
Dublin Core
is built-in. However, you might have to do some tinkering
to get it
out in exactly the same terminology, an export to Dublin
Core should
be a relatively easy project with OpenACS's templating
system.
Again, it has built-in LDAP support and sophisticated
permissions
system. All core packages and most others have a built-in
group
scoping based on a subsite membership model.
There is plenty more to talk about. Feel free to contact me
off list.
Cheers,
Walter McGinnis
