I am trying to create connection files for our databases to
use with
EndNote. I am currently working on our EBSCO databases and
I've
gotten the IP Address, Port Number, and Target Information
from
EBSCO. I have put all the information in but when I try to
use the
connection file. EBSCO gave me a custid, groupid, profileid
and
password. I am using the custid as the userid, the
password, and the
groupid. I haven't found a place to put in the profileid.

When I try to connect it times out after a few minutes. Has
anyone
had this problem before and could point me in the right
direction?

I appreciate your time and help.

Thanks.

I'd also suggest calling EBSCO tech support and asking them
what is required
for a Z39.50 connection. I'm not sure which of those three
IDs is considered
the user ID, but only the user ID and the password are
required for EBSCO
connections. When I asked a few years ago they just gave me
one id to use.
