Blackboard and Library Integration

Hello all,

I'm wondering if I can get any recommendations for
institutions doing  
interesting and relevant things to work the library/research
into  
Blackboard.

I've been experimenting with making what amount to widgets
for  
professors to upload into their courses. So far they
include: search  
form with radio buttons for selecting one of four major
databases in  
the field, links to subject guides, an IM widget for the
subject  
librarian, and subject librarian contact information.

I'm looking for other ideas/tools/methods/etc. Literature on
the  
topic is rare and mostly unhelpful.
