Now I maybe stealing someones idea or puting an idea out
there for someone
else to make a million off or this is just an idea for
Saturday Night Live.
But here it goes.
How about puting RFID tags on office folders?! Then there
would be no way to
lose them. Think of the speed at which you could retrieve
information. Have a
handle held device that you could code in the file name you
are looking for
and just scan your office drawers or desk to find it.

Hey, it is Friday!! And we haven't any sunshine for a week.

Personally, I am just waiting for a GPS transponder small
enough to
put on my glasses and keys <g>.

The fundamental issue with what you propose is that RFID
tags don't do
anything unless they are passed by a reader. While it might
be
possible to build an office-size reader, the radiation would
poach you
and your coworkers by lunch.
