-DIGITAL SERVICES/OUTREACH LIBRARIAN (Tenure-track)
Reporting to the Assistant Director, User Services, the
incumbent is responsible for the exploration, and assessment
of emerging technologies and their impact on library
services; engages public services staff in the search for
and adoption of new tools in order to respond to client
needs and enhance services; works collaboratively with
librarians and other staff to implement and adopt new
technologies to deliver and enhance services to the
Concordia community; plans and conducts usability studies of
the library’s public services interfaces; works
collaboratively to promote and market library services and
resources through outreach activities; provides library
instruction to students and faculty, provides general
reference service and research assistance. Under the
direction of the Assistant Director, Collection Services,
liaises with faculty and students and is responsible for
collection development in assigned subject areas. Performs
other duties as assigned.
