Going to ALA? Don't wait on your plane ticket

I made my flight reservation early this week, and I want to
emphasize that
if you're going to New Orleans, do NOT tarry regarding your
flight
reservations--make them now. Due to gas prices and a few
other issues,
flights in and out of NO are more expensive to begin with,
and the choices
aren't great. 

ALA's conference website offers a couple of
discounts--United and
Delta--though after evaluating those choices plus Expedia
and Travelocity, I
found I did better on my preferred airline's own website.
Your mileage may
vary...
