MS Windows Live Book Search

It seems like everyone's favorite punching-boy these days
is Microsoft.
Some of it is justified, some of it is not, but honestly,
they keep
setting themselves up for it. If there ever was a dynamic,
high-profile
and useful ORIGINAL idea that came out of their shop lately,
I would
love to hear about it.

Microsoft: 'Someone's already been to where we take you

Does it matter if you're the first to market it, or the
second, if you
win in the long run?  Think Beta/VHS, US autos/Japanese
autos, etc.
Examples abound.
