appWeb+php+mysql

In my /opt/etc/php.conf file there is a line some way down
the file that 
points the PHP application to the extensions directory

extension_dir = /opt/lib/php/extensions

and in this directory on my machine is the mysql.so
extension file.

Have never tried appweb,  I use Lighttpd and some times
Cherokee and 
they both work just fine with PHP/Mysql enabled apps.
