Recently, the NSLU2-Linux core team joined forces with the
LinkstationWiki, TerrastationWiki and Kurobox projects, to form
www.nas-central.org

NAS-Central is designed to be a central "clearing-house" for open source
work involving NAS devices. It does not replace community sites (like
www.nslu2-linux.org), but provides a starting-point for people to find
those communities.

nas-central.org and all it's related resources are hosted on the same
physical servers as nslu2-linux.org at OSUOSL, and the physical server
infrastructure is managed by the same team that manages our project
infrastructure.

If you're looking for a NAS box that is an upgrade from the NSLU2, then
look at the wiki pages (and the corresponding communities) linked from
www.nas-central.org, and make your choice from there.

Make sure you choose one which is supported by Optware, then you can use
all the same packages that you are familiar with on the new device
