Sure, but would any serious jobhunter look at a list that
says "The
following companies or their representatives don't honor
this mailing
list. Don't expect them to treat you well as an employee.
You have
been warned." We might even warn FOSS-oriented
companies against a
partnership of any kind, or run the risk of violations of
the terms of
their agreement.

We would rather not. It would take time and resources to do
it, posts
would be delayed while waiting for moderator approval, and
generally
people do follow the rules. It's a sufficiently low volume
group that
even spammers aren't a big deal (they just piss off those
who have a
strong sense of order and who would rather see everyone
following the
rules).

Some don't follow the rules because they're newbies and
don't know any
better. Gentle reminders and pointers to netiquette are
usually
sufficient for those (and it leads to learning, so they'll
take the
lesson with them to other lists). Others don't because they
don't know
any better and can't learn. But there aren't many of those
here
(actually, I'd guess there aren't any of those here). There
will be
some others who will purposely flout the rules because they
don't care
what they break as long as they can make a buck from
spamming. Those
should be reminded to do better, and if they don't, they
should be
shamed publicly and kicked so they remember.
