- at least 1.5 years experience installation, managing and troubleshooting Linux Servers, preferably RH, TurboLinux and Suse
- experienced in installing, configuring and troubleshooting HTTP/FTP, Sendmail/Postfix, LDAP and DNS services
- can adapt to multicultural environment
- customer focused (preferably with helpdesk experience)
- excellent English skills both written and oral
- 3rd party certification is not required, but can be an advantage

Technical Support Engineer
(National Capital Reg - Pasig City)

Responsibilities:

  • For SQL Database Technicians
  • - create SQL queries, understand RDBMS, create maintenance plans, restore databases from suspect or single-user mode, importing and exporting of data
  • For IPPBX Technicians
  • - Solid experience in LINUX, UNIX administration, Asterisk troubleshooting and maintenance
  • For General Applications Team members- Understand domains, networking (routing, sub-netting, port usage, telnet etc., understanding ports and remote access technologies), software installs and upgrades, ability to learn complicated products in a fast paced environment, PC Maintenance and Hardware Replacements, RAID, SATA, etc.,
  • For Telephony Technicians
  • - T1’s E1’s, PBX’s, VoIP, IVR/ACD call routing logic, Dialogic telephony cards
  • For Scripting
  • – Experience with Visual Basic, ASP, ASPX, PHP, HTML, etc.

Requirements:

  • Candidates will be Experienced Technical Support Engineers with EXCELLENT English accents and superior communication skills.
  • Seeking top-notch support technicians with ANY of these skill(s): LINUX, SQL, Telephony, Web Scripting, VB, DLL development, PBX systems, and / or Network management. Candidates will be expected to possess Client Management skills and have Well Rounded experience with Troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • The position requires some overnight shift work with heavy client interaction via phone (90%), email, and in person. Support our world-class call center solution products by providing specialized technical assistance.
  • Must possess an EXCEPTIONAL English accent - Support, clients, in, US, &, worldwide via phone, remote access and e-mail.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any related field.
  • Preferred skill(s): SQL Database DBA, LINUX, Web-Scripting, Administration, Telephony, Voip, VB, DLL compiling, Networking.
  • Required language(s): English - only the best accents need apply.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Pasig City - Ortigas Area.
  • Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering (Electronics/Communication or equivalent}.
