members restricted posting against spam

is it possible to close write/posting for members (entried
users/emails)
to make number of spam messages litle smaller?
and read open for everybody

I know, it is not absolutelly stop of spam
but very litle filter

or what do you all thing about that?

Many mailing lists I've seen are set to moderate the first
few posts
for new users. Since most ML spam is sent from disposable
one-off
addresses, this would cut down a lot on spam.

It's a little more work for the list moderators, but if
members are
taken off moderation after their first couple real posts it
shouldn't
be overwhelming.
