Test--why did I get a "bounce" message from majordomo@vpnc.org?

This is sort of a test--a few minutes ago I sent a reply to
the list, and I 
got back a "bounce" from majordomovpnc.org
that started out like this:

Yes, it was discussed here several times.
Answer: somebody subscribed again to our list and is
sending
a vacation type automatic answer if you write anything to
the list.
