Position based in San Mateo, CA
Responsibilities:

*Own Application uptime, and enhancements, for Open Source
Trouble
Ticketing, customized Customer portal, and CRM applications.
* Maintain, and enhance, multiple PHP and Perl applications
and environments
running on PostreSQL-type databases
* Be responsible for system operations of business critical
systems
* Work to accomplish business objectives; some off-hour or
weekend work as
required

Required Skills:

    * Perl
    * PHP
    * SQL
    * Linux System Administration helpful
    * Enterprise-class operations and system uptime
practices
    * Hardware: severs, disks, network devices, RAID
configuration, backup
systems 

Helpful
    * PostgreSQL/database development and administration
    * Python helpful
    * Networking helpful
    * Initiative, quick-learner, and patient
    * IT Help Desk customer handling skills helpful
    * Postfix knowledge greatly helpful
    * OTRS (Trouble Ticketing System) experience helpful
    * SugarCRM experience helpful
