Mobilygen is looking for a Manager of Systems Testing and
QA.  

Location: Santa Clara, CA.

The manager will work with Mobilygen's engineering team to
develop the
infrastructure to test complete systems including circuit
boards,
operating systems, and application software.  These systems
will
include embedded audio/video codecs and/or PC server or
client
applications that make use of Mobilygen's line of low-power
multimedia
codecs. The individual, will institute a robust QA
environment in a
hands on role and then grow the QA team as Mobilygen grows.
The
qualified individual will have proven track record of
managing a highly
effective QA dept. in a successful company shipping systems
and s/w to
the customer. This individual should have good communication
skills, be
capable of working cross functionally with good
leadership skills.

The Systems QA Manager is responsible for the following:

* Drive a system testing methodology into all aspects of
engineering
development activities
* Specify, develop and execute automated system testing
plans
* Manage s/w and h/w release processes

Requirements
* Experience in white and black box testing of embedded
systems,
preferably consumer electronics
* Experience in one or more scripting languages such as Perl
or Python
* Strong attention to detail
* Experience in testing consumer audio/video systems such as
DVD
players, DVD recorders, or set-top boxes, Linux and embedded
Linux
* BSCS and 7+ years experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
