Anyone who implements my suggestion will discover a bug.

AC3's "fedora-release" package has been published
with "release_version"
set to "5", which is correct for the Fedora Core
build it came from, but
not for Alpha Core. The repository seems to work fine, but
you'll need
to hard-code the path as
"ftp://ftp.alphacore.info/alpha/core/3/os".

Sergey - if I put together a fresh package, say
"alphacore-release" with
all the FC references removed, can you work it into the main
tree?

Even though the version number will go backwards, I'm pretty
sure that
if I put "Obsoletes: fedora-release" and
"Provides: fedora-release" in
the spec file, it'll upgrade fine.

Please keep an eye on my other mail and think about using
mirrorlist.

Could you add a gpgkey option to the configuration?

Thanks

Anders
