Hi all

I am new to this group and relatively new to linux, although I do have
fedora core 4 installed on unix box at home.

The problem I have is that I have a T22 IBM think pad with an 80GD
hard drive partition into to 40GB sections. I have windows XP
installed on one and I am trying to install Fedora core 5 onto the
other. I have gone through the installation of Fedora and everything
went as expected, except when I boot into Fedora it goes through the
boot up and then gives me a blank screen!!! no mouse nothing?

am I missing something???

I can boot into windows no problem but cannot seem to get the desktop
of Fedora just a blank screen any help would be greatly appreciated???

Cheers

Peter

fine, you start you machine with init 3 (text mode) this can be done
by passing argument to the kernel in the grub. once your machine boot
up to the text mode try to reconfigure your X by X -configure or
system-config-display and change the resolution. post the issue as
what went wrong
